When your boss tells you he’s going to pay you $10/hr to decorate some chalkboards at work and then decides he’s going to pay you a flat rate of $100 a board, there being 8-10 boards. Hellooooo Sydney!

I want to take a second to say just how much I love my new job.
It’s a wonderful feeling to walk into work and have your boss give you a huge hug and tell you how excited he is that you finally have a shift together. It is also wonderful getting paid to draw cutesy little signs and eat delicious food all day.
&! I had a customer tonight who is interested in commissioning me to do a mural on the building of a new alternative after-school program.
This year is already kicking so much ass, I can’t even begin to describe.
This evening will be spent painting a ginormous ceiling with my pops and fooling around with my gee-tar. I love my life, my new job, my family, and the people closest to my heart.
Tomorrow will be the last day I smoke cigarettes.
I haven’t been too creative lately, still kind of lagging from the holidays & my craft room is a wreck. Thank goddess for having the next two days off work! Just need to buy a new palette knife.
Went a little crazy at half price. A couple for gifts, a couple I loaned out, and some awesome others.
